President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has defended his administration’s economic policies amid public concerns over hunger and hardship in the country, saying he is still working to correct the problems inherited from previous governments.
Speaking in Rivers State on Saturday, Tinubu took a swipe at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, questioning how he was able to establish a university while serving as vice president.
“Nigerians are talking about hunger, but I am cleaning up the mess created by previous governments. Atiku Abubakar was part of those governments. Ask him how he managed to build a university while serving as Vice President,” Tinubu said.
