Yoruba Nollywood actress, Bose Alao, is mourning the loss of her husband, Rasak Omotoyosi, a former Nigerian and Benin Republic football star.
According to reports by journalist Seun Oloketuyi, Omotoyosi’s brother confirmed that the 39-year-old ex-international had been battling depression and illness prior to his passing.
The football legend, who made his mark in both Nigerian and Beninese football, had faced a series of personal tragedies in recent months. In July, he lost his house to a fire, and only two weeks ago, his sister also passed away events said to have deeply affected him.
Omotoyosi is survived by his wife, Bose Alao, and their four children.
