Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has confirmed her reconciliation with her former husband, Hon. Opeyemi Falegan, five years after their highly publicised and messy breakup.
The actress made the revelation during a joint TikTok Live session with Falegan, where the former couple disclosed that they had rekindled their relationship.
Speaking during the broadcast, Nkechi said, “Mo ti pada si ẹsẹ aro mi,” which translates to “I have returned to my former lover.”
The former couple revealed that Falegan had been reaching out to the actress since February in a bid to apologise and make peace.
However, Nkechi insisted that he had to issue a public apology first because he was the one who initially took their relationship crisis to social media.
She also promised to tender her own apology, with both parties confirming that they had since apologised to each other.
During the conversation, the actress jokingly asked Falegan whether he had found someone better than her during the five years they spent apart, sparking laughter during the live session.
Their reconciliation has since attracted reactions on social media, with many expressing surprise and excitement over the former couple’s decision to give their relationship another chance.
