A political youth mobilizer in Imo State, Comrade Ibeh C, has thrown his weight behind High Chief Okey Amadi ahead of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) primaries for Owerri Federal Constituency.
Speaking after a meeting with the aspirant in Owerri, Ibeh, who also identified himself as a security expert, described Amadi as the most credible and qualified among the contenders. He said his assessment was based on what he termed Amadi’s “human conscience, philanthropic record, and passion for development.”
According to him, the meeting, held at Amadi’s campaign office along Okigwe Road, revealed a candidate driven by a strong desire to improve the lives of constituents, particularly youths.
He noted that Amadi outlined plans to facilitate federal employment opportunities for graduates in the constituency, sponsor bills aimed at establishing skills acquisition centres and industries, and support infrastructure development, including roads, healthcare facilities, and improved learning conditions in secondary schools.
“I saw passion, zeal, and a genuine hunger to deliver people-oriented projects,” Ibeh stated, adding that such qualities set the aspirant apart from others in the race.
He called on party leaders, youths, and women across the constituency to rally behind Amadi during the ADC primaries, describing him as a figure capable of driving meaningful change in the area.
The Owerri Federal Constituency is expected to witness keen competition as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
