Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has again applauded the economic reforms of President Bola Tinubu, describing it as a bold initiative with a remarkable impact on the state and other states in the South-South region.
The governor said this while fielding questions from Government House Correspondents at the Hilltop Mansion Government House, Uyo, on his return from the All Progressives Congress Summit on Saturday.
“I have never hidden my love for the President. He has brought up remarkable reforms to grow the nation’s economy. He has supported us in the South-South to implement our laudable projects.
“Our nation’s economy is turning around. I believe that in the next couple of months, we will begin to see the dividends,” he observed.
Eno disclosed that the economy of Akwa Ibom State is growing steadily as lots of life-touching projects and programmes are being embarked upon and tracked to meet their set targets for the benefit of the people and the State.
“We are pursuing and doing our projects. We have finished our two-day project review meeting. The ship of the State is perfectly on course,” he stated.
He described the summit as interactive and an opportunity, especially for the new entrants into the party to interact with Stakeholders across the South-South region.
