By Dr. Emezie Madu
He made the statement when he visited Igwe of Nimo Igwe Max Ike Oliobi, Eze Orazurunye of Nimo at his palace.
According to Dr. Godwin Maduka, regional governance whereby a Governor concentrates development in his area encourages divisiveness and lopsidedness in the development of Anambra State.
Okosisi Orumba said for the very fact that he had already developed his community Umuchukwu with his personal resources, he will have ample time to develop every part of the State simultaneously.
According to Dr. Godwin Maduka “If God gives you a blessing, you should extend the same blessing to others or it becomes short changed.
I am coming for the poor.
I am coming for the less privileged. I didn’t come for money or for power.
I come to change the narratives of my childhood to transform the lives of the less privileged”
In his response, Igwe Max Ike Oliobi who could not contain his excitement while giving Okosisi his royal blessing described him as a rare gem whose time to Govern Anambra State has come.
In the words of His Royal Highness “any man who uses his personal resources to develop his community should be allowed to govern Anambra State”.
In a brief response, the President General (PG) Nimo Chief Agbalanze Kenenna Okafor who warmly welcomed Okosisi Orumba promised to support any aspirant who has the interest of the masses at heart which is what Okosisi stands for.
In the same vein Dr. Godwin Maduka also visited PDP women leader South East, Chief Mrs Mary Omile who incidentally is a native of Nimo. Ndi Ogene added colour to the occasion.
In another development,
Dr. Godwin Maduka had time to seek God’s guidance by attending evening mass at Saint Joseph the worker Catholic Church Unizik Temp Site Awka.
