The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Aspirant for Anambra South, Sir Azuka Okwuosa, has called on the women of Anambra to rally behind the APC in the forthcoming November 8 governorship election, emphasizing the need to realign the state with the center for inclusive development.
Speaking over the weekend at “An Afternoon with Senator Uche Ekwunife” a strategic engagement convened by the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate to mobilize women support, Sir Okwuosa urged women to vote massively for the APC and its gubernatorial candidate, promising a more responsive, inclusive, and development-driven administration under the Ikukuoma/Iyom ticket.
Sir Okwuosa criticized the current APGA-led administration for isolating Anambra from the economic benefits flowing from the federal government due to its insular “nke a bu nke anyị” (this is our own) approach. He noted that such political detachment has cost the state vital development opportunities and deprived its people of the necessary support to thrive.
“Our people have the entrepreneurial spirit and the wealth,” Okwuosa said, “but what they lack is a conducive environment—security, infrastructure, and government support—to reclaim their pride of place as a major economic hub.”
He stressed that voting APC is not just a political choice, but a step towards restoring Anambra’s connection to national economic and political development.
“With an Ikukuoma/Iyom-led APC government, Anambra will witness a new era of responsive leadership, strategic growth, and lasting prosperity,” he concluded.
