
Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of Anambra State could not hold back his excitement as he showed off his dancing moves shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Barrister Mimiy Ikpeazu of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) winner of the Onitsha North 1 State Constituency election.
According to the official results released by INEC, APGA polled 7,774 votes to secure victory, defeating other parties in the race. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) scored 1,909 votes, the All Progressives Congress (APC) garnered 1,371 votes, while the Young Progressives Party (YPP) finished with 655 votes.

The victory further consolidates APGA’s dominance in Anambra politics and strengthens Soludo’s support base within the state legislature.
