The Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, Right Reverend Alexander Ibezim, has called on Nigerians especially leaders to pursue peace and ensure there is unity in the country.
The Bishop, while delivering a message during the Easter celebration in Awka, the Anambra State capital on Sunday, said no meaningful progress can be achieved where crisis abounds.
For Senator Ben Obi, leaders at all levels must learn to put the interest of the people above self as was exemplified in the life of Jesus Christ.
He asked the citizens to be more prayerful with the hope of a better tomorrow
Christians were also advised to use the Easter celebration to reconcile with their neighbours as the central message is that of peace and hope.
