Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has warned Nigerian youths against attempting to snatch ballot boxes during the 2027 general elections, declaring that the era of ballot box snatching must come to an end.
Chinyere, while addressing Nigerians, said the 2027 elections would not be conducted in the same manner as previous elections, stressing that Nigerians were tired of allowing politicians to manipulate them during elections.
He particularly cautioned youths against being used by politicians to disrupt the electoral process, urging them to resist any attempt to involve them in ballot box snatching.
According to him, politicians who encourage youths to engage in electoral violence should instead ask their own children, many of whom he claimed are abroad, to participate in such acts.
How long will Nigerians continue fooling themselves and allowing politicians to fool them? They have children, and their children are abroad. They should bring their children to snatch ballot boxes for them,” he said.
The cleric further warned youths that there would be serious consequences for anyone who attempts to snatch a ballot box during the 2027 election.
“To all Nigerian youths, in the 2027 election, if you go near any ballot box just to snatch it, you will kpai,” he said.
Chinyere maintained that Nigerians should reject electoral violence and ensure that their votes are protected through peaceful and lawful participation in the democratic process.
