Cross River govt’s meeting

The meeting between the Cross River state government led by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and the protesting magistrates has ended in a deadlock at the ministry of Justice headquarters in Calabar.

The affected magistrates say they will continue their protest until their demands are met.

The state government insists that their recruitment did not secure the required approvals, but assured them that governor Ayade will intervene.
