
The Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Brigadier General B. M. Uba, who was killed in the line of duty while defending the nation at Wajiroko in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.

During the visit, the Minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss and described Brig. Gen. Uba as a gallant officer whose sacrifice embodies the highest ideals of patriotism and service to the nation. He assured the bereaved family that the Federal Government stands firmly with them in this difficult period and remains committed to supporting families of fallen heroes.
General Musa also reaffirmed the military’s resolve to honour Brig. Gen. Uba’s legacy by intensifying ongoing counterterrorism operations and ensuring that his efforts in safeguarding Nigeria do not go in vain.
