An elderly man believed to be from Ifite Nnobi in Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, was discovered deep inside a bush in a critical condition.
According to residents, the man was found covered in mud, barely able to speak, gasping for breath, and severely dehydrated. He reportedly identified himself as being from Ifite Nnobi.
Locals believe he may have been stranded in the bush for an extended period, possibly due to illness or a physical disability, considering his frail condition at the time he was found.
The elderly man has since been rescued and taken to a nearby health centre, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.
Residents expressed hope that once he regains his strength, he will be able to explain how he ended up in the bush and what transpired before his rescue.
