The Enugu State Government has invited interested bidders to submit bids for the purchase of some unserviceable movable assets belonging to the state.
The invitation was issued by the Enugu State Ministry of Finance and Economic Development in compliance with the Enugu State Public Procurement Law, 2021.
The assets are located at various government establishments across Enugu and Lagos.
At the Enugu State Water Corporation, the items listed include a burnt Porter Cabin, a 70 KVA generator and a non-functional MCC starter panel, among other unserviceable assets.
The Enugu State Broadcasting Service (ESBS) has items including rusted iron tanks, discarded UPS units and two discarded indoor air-conditioning units.
Also listed for sale at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, is a 1971-model Mercedes 0365 Benz bus.
The Enugu State Liaison Office in Lagos has a Peugeot 504 Best Line, 1981 model, and a Nissan Tiida, 2004 model, listed among the unserviceable movable assets.
According to the ministry, prospective bidders seeking detailed information about the assets are to contact the Permanent Secretary, Enugu State Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, on 08036476047.
Interested bidders are required to submit their bid documents within 21 days from Thursday, August 27, 2026, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid Document.”
The bidder’s name is also expected to be written on the reverse side of the sealed envelope and addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Enugu State Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
The notice was signed by the Permanent Secretary on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Enugu State.
