FCT Lands Meant for Schools and Hospitals Being Targeted Under Wike’s Watch – Sowore

Sowore and Wike

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has launched a fresh criticism against the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, accusing him of targeting public lands and properties meant for ordinary Nigerians.

Sowore alleged that Wike and his associates were prioritizing the acquisition of lands and assets that should serve public interests, claiming that properties linked to hospitals, schools, and community spaces were being affected.

In his remarks, the activist accused the FCT administration of focusing on projects beyond the reach of average citizens while neglecting critical areas such as electricity, healthcare, and education.

He also questioned the government’s development priorities, arguing that authorities should focus on improving basic social infrastructure and addressing the welfare needs of residents rather than pursuing projects he believes do not directly benefit low-income Nigerians.
