Following the failure of former vice president and PDP flag bearer in the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar to win at the election tribunal, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Garus Gololo has advised him to prepare for 2023 and forget about going to supreme court.
In a chat with journalists Tuesday in Abuja, Gololo said PDP and Atiku failed to defend their case and that is why they lost at the tribunal.
He said, “The only advise I have for Atiku is for him to contest again in 2023, while APC is preparing for him,” he said.
On the issue of 9billion dollar contract which the court said Nigeria should pay, the APC chieftain stated that nobody should expect Nigeria to pay such money, adding that he would rather use the money for the poor masses and the development of the country.
He commended president Buhari for taking prompt measure on the recent Sauth African attack on Nigerians.
He said Nigerians should appreciate Buhari and ignore the recent letter sent by former President Olusegun Obasanjo to South Africa, describing it as medicine after death.
