Former Nigerian Senator Slump And Dies In Enugu State

Reports reaching Akelicious has it that a former Senator from Enugu State, Fidelis Okoro who was Enugu North senatorial zone Enugu State in the 5th and 6th senate is dead.

The Iheagu, Nru in Nsukka local government born politician a family source told journalist101 slumped and died in the midday of Sunday, 17th May, 2020.

“Senator Okoro just died my brother, he wasn’t sick, he just slumped and gave up the ghost,” a close relative who craved for anonymity told our correspondent.

The former senator who was elected on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) before joining the Peoples Democratic Party in 2001 served as senate committee chairman on Industries as well as member, Police Affairs, Agriculture and Niger Delta committees.
