God’s Intervention Brought Me Here, Says Defence Minister Christopher Musa

The Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, has revealed that he faced conspiracies from some forces but said faith and divine intervention were central to his rise to national leadership.

Musa disclosed that God intervened at a critical moment in his life, turning adversity into elevation. The former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) made this known during a recent worship service at Conquerors Global Assembly in Abuja.

He urged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith, stressing that “because we serve a living God, He will never give up on us.”

“We give God the glory for what has happened this year. Even when the enemy thought they were putting us down, they did not know God was going to lift us up,” Musa said.

“In their small minds they conspired and thought they had won. But as long as you have God as your pillar, you will win.”

The Defence Minister noted that challenges are essential for personal and national growth, adding that unity and faith remain Nigeria’s greatest strengths.

“If you are never challenged, you can never improve in life. As Nigerians, we know we are strong, but we are stronger together with God Almighty. Nigerians are winners. We must continue to pray for our leaders and our country,” he said.

On December 2, President Bola Tinubu nominated Musa as Minister of Defence and forwarded his name to the Senate. He was appointed to replace Mohammed Badaru, who resigned from the position due to health reasons.
