Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has provided latest injury update on midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne, following his side’s Premier League 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
A first-half goal from Phil Foden gave Guardiola’s men all three points against Tottenham.
De Bruyne sustained a knee injury in the first half of Man City’s clash with Spurs at Etihad.
Guardiola said the Belgium international will miss Man City’s Premier League derby clash against Manchester United on Wednesday.
Providing update on De Bruyne’s injury, Guardiola was quoted by Mirror UK as saying: “I didn’t speak with him or the doctors but it’s a muscular injury.
“I don’t know how big the impact is. We will see tomorrow, but I think the next game he will be out.”
