The new governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodinma, on Sunday, has debunked the rumour published by PUNCH and circulating on the social media that Uzodinma orders probe of former governors of the state.
The former governors are, Ikedi Ohakim, Rochas Okorocha and Emeka Ihedioha.
He made the clarification while briefing newsmen in Owerri on Sunday.
Uzodinma said the rumour was baseless, unfounded and the figment imagination of some mischievous people who wanted to cause confusion in the state.
He said:
“My attention has been drawn to a fake news being circulared on the social media that I order the probe of the ex-governors.
“The story is not true, the statement is not from me and if there is a need to probe anyone, it will come directly from me.”
According to him, i would revive the state and make it working again.
