Hon. Eneh Victor Chigozie has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah on the second anniversary of his passing, describing him as a leader whose impact and legacy continue to resonate across Nigeria.
In an emotional message shared on Saturday, July 26, 2026, Eneh reflected on the life and influence of the late senator, noting that even many of those who once criticised or opposed him now acknowledge the value of his contributions.
According to him, people who once condemned Ubah have joined others in praising his legacy, with many expressing the belief that he would have spoken out against several of the challenges currently facing the country’s political landscape if he were still alive.
Describing the late senator as “a different human,” Eneh said Ubah lived a life of purpose and service, leaving behind a lasting impact on countless lives.
“You came, you saw, you impacted,” he wrote, while referring to the late lawmaker by his traditional titles, including Ebubechukwu Uzo Nnewi, Odenjijim Neni, Dike, Ikemba Ndigbo, and Odogwu m.
Eneh, who described Ubah as his leader, ally and friend, said he still finds it difficult to come to terms with the loss, adding that he cannot stop mourning him.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of Ubah’s soul and said his death came at a time when his leadership and services were still greatly needed.
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah died on July 26, 2024. He is remembered by many supporters as a businessman, philanthropist and politician whose influence extended beyond Anambra State.
