The International Criminal Court (ICC), sitting in Hague, The Netherlands, has invited an Abia State born lawyer, human rights activist and astute politician, ACB Agbazuere, to appear and sit as a judge during its June sitting, which will hold from June 2 to June 7, 2019.
Agbazuere, a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and life member of the Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU) with headquarters in Tanzania, described the invitation as the recognition of his modest contributions to the law profession.
The eminent lawyer, who has a PhD in Constitutional Law, is also a patron of the International Bar Association (IBA). The Ngwa born legal luminary and law teacher is a native of Ikem Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South local government area of Abia State.
Meanwhile, many legal practitioners and politicians have lauded Agbazuere for his latest recognition by a reputed international body like the ICC, describing it as an ultimate dream of lawyer and a rare privilege.
