Iran Displays Billboard Threatening to Kill Trump Amid Rising Tensions With US

Iran Displays Billboard Threatening to Kill Trump

Iran has unveiled a massive billboard bearing a death threat against United States President Donald Trump at Enghelab Square in Tehran, as anti-American messages and artworks spread across the country’s capital amid the ongoing conflict between both nations.

The billboard, displayed on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, carries the inscription, “We will kill Trump,” alongside an image of the US president standing behind prison bars with his head bowed.

According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), the display is part of an expanding campaign of anti-American messages and calls for revenge appearing in public spaces across Iran.

Another anti-Trump exhibition was also mounted at Tajrish Square in northern Tehran, featuring several paintings depicting the American president in violent and humiliating situations.

One of the artworks showed Trump lying on the ground with a bloodied face while a foot pressed against his head, while another depicted a bomb covering his face.

A life-sized replica of a prison cell was also installed at the location, where an actor dressed and made up to resemble Trump spent the day inside. A screen beside the installation displayed images of destruction reportedly caused by US military strikes on Iran.

The public displays come amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran following the war that began on February 28, 2026, when US and Israeli strikes killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Since then, Iran has intensified its public condemnation of the United States, with several displays calling for retaliation over the military campaign.

Tehran has also accused Trump of deliberately ordering attacks on civilian locations, including a school and a wedding ceremony, which it claims resulted in the deaths of dozens of people, including women and children. However, the allegations were not independently established in the AFP report.

Meanwhile, Trump has indicated that a diplomatic agreement with Iran remains possible, saying a deal “could happen” as efforts continue to prevent another round of hostilities.

The billboard campaign also coincides with the US midterm elections scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, with dissatisfaction over the war reportedly emerging as one of the concerns among American voters.

Iran has a longstanding history of using large billboards, murals and political artworks to communicate messages against foreign adversaries, particularly the United States and Israel.

Such displays have remained a prominent feature of public spaces across the country since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
