A man has shared a troubling experience with his mechanic after a routine car repair allegedly ended in more serious issues.
According to him, he handed his vehicle over to a mechanic identified as Mr Kamal after noticing instability in the front right tyre. The mechanic reportedly promised to fix it within a few hours but delayed the delivery, citing unavailable parts and other excuses before eventually returning the car days later.
Shortly after the repair, the man said the engine warning light began coming on intermittently. When he took the car for diagnostics, he was allegedly informed that a key component had been removed and replaced with a less effective one.
He claimed the mechanic denied wrongdoing when confronted but later apologized and offered to replace the part.
After the car was temporarily restored and driven around without issues, he said the engine light returned again while he was on his way home, adding that he is now considering taking further action.
