A lady has advised women to marry for love rather than being solely motivated by money, stressing that genuine affection and companionship become even more important in old age.
In a recent statement, she urged women to carefully consider their choice of partners, noting that while financial stability may be a factor in marriage, couples should ensure that love continues to exist between them throughout their lives.
She shared a personal experience involving her parents, revealing that her mother has been sick for about a week while her father also struggles with health challenges affecting his legs.
According to her, despite his own physical difficulties, her father has continued to care for and treat her mother with love throughout her illness.
The experience, she said, reminded her of advice a friend gave her in 2021, when the friend told her that if she did not find a man like her father, she might never get married.
“Marry for love. It’s in your old age that you know what you’re doing,” she said, encouraging women to look beyond material considerations when choosing a life partner.
