A woman has raised concerns over what she described as the high number of men dying in society, urging women to support their husbands and avoid actions that could contribute to emotional stress in their marriages.
The woman made the remarks while speaking at a man’s burial, where she drew attention to obituary posters displayed around the burial ground.
According to her, a look at the posters suggested that men accounted for a larger proportion of the deceased than women, a trend she described as troubling.
She argued that some men endure significant stress and emotional pressure due to challenges in their marriages, calling on wives to show understanding, care and support for their husbands.
The woman further claimed that stress contributes to some deaths, insisting that not every death should simply be attributed to the time a person was destined to die.
She also criticised women who, according to her, engage in extramarital affairs or fail to consider the emotional consequences of their actions on their husbands.
She warned that marital conflict, lack of support and emotional distress could place additional pressure on individuals already dealing with other challenges in life.
