A Nigerian woman in Anambra State has reportedly sparked outrage after allegedly involving her seven-year-old daughter in sexually explicit content shared on a popular live-streaming platform for monetary gifts.
The woman, who is said to have been confronted over the alleged conduct, reportedly stood her ground, insisting that nobody could stop her from doing what makes her money online.
“Nobody can do me anything. I will continue to do what makes me money online. You all are not saints and you all have done worse in private,” she allegedly said.
The reported incident has triggered widespread condemnation, with many Nigerians calling for authorities to investigate the matter and ensure the child’s safety.
Child-protection advocates are expected to view any alleged production or distribution of sexual content involving a minor as an extremely serious matter requiring urgent intervention by law-enforcement and child-protection authorities.
