Nigerian comedian and actor Julius Agwu has opened up about a previously less-discussed consequence of the brain surgery he underwent in the United States in 2015, revealing that the procedure affected his sexual function.
Agwu made the disclosure during an episode of the Beer Parlour Talk Show, where he reflected on the physical effects of the surgery and how it changed different aspects of his life.
Speaking during the conversation, the comedian explained that he began experiencing erectile dysfunction after the procedure. He attributed the problem to nerve damage sustained during the surgery, saying a nerve was cut during the operation.
Agwu underwent brain surgery in 2015 after doctors discovered three tumours in his brain, one of which was reportedly about the size of a golf ball.
The comedian has previously spoken about the serious health challenges he faced during that period and the impact the experience had on his career and personal life.
