The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari, for his commitment to providing the resources required to fight against insurgency and other security threats in the country. Abubakar made this known in Yola at a lunch to celebrate Easter with troops of the Air Taskforce. The CAS represented by Chief of Policy and Plans, AVM Emmanuel Anebi, said, NAF, could only show gratitude to the President by remaining a disciplined force and exhibit high level of professionalism in their activities by maintaining vigilance at all times. “We are all aware of our enormous responsibility in ensuring indivisibility of our dear country. “As such we cannot allow ourselves to be taken unawares and most remain alert at all times. “I wish to remind all of us that, we are still at the front line and we should not loss sight on the fact that, we could come under attack at any time. “I’m saying this to underscore, the need to continue to maintain vigilance at all times. “I must also use this occasion, to appreciate President. Muhammadu Buhari, who provided us with resources required to perform our assigned duties”. The CAS who said, the get together was to foster comradeship and provide opportunities lauded their efforts in the fight against insurgency. Earlier, Commander, 153 Base Service Group, Air Commodore Anthony Ndache, said government’s encouragement to the officer and men of NAF, shows commitment to boosting their morale at all time. Ndache, reiterated the commitment to doing their job and support to the President Buhari at all times.
