NDLEA probes owners of psychotropic substances

                           
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Plateau State has confirmed the interception of over 10 tonnes of psychotropic substances concealed in a truck from Onitsha in Anambra State late last year.

NDLEA State Commander, Dr. Ibrahim Braji, told Akelicious  that the substances were concealed in other commodities such as charcoal and palm oil.

He said the vehicle was in their custody while the driver has been arrested and is giving security agents vital information.

Dr. Baraji said the matter was still under investigation as the command was trying to trace the owners of the consignment as well as its expected final destination.
