A Nigerian soldier has voiced frustration over the neglect of troops on the frontlines, criticizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decision to reward Super Falcons players with ₦150 million each and apartments.
In a viral video, the visibly distressed soldier showcased the poor living conditions of troops, saying, “President Tinubu, you get mind oo. See where we, Nigerian soldiers, are suffering… yet you still had the guts to give Super Falcons players ₦150 million each and an apartment.”
He lamented that those risking their lives for national security can barely afford good food, while others are being celebrated with massive financial rewards.
