Kind-hearted Nigerians continue to show overwhelming support for Mrs. Gertrude Anulika Ngwu, a woman who was humiliated in a viral video captured during her husband’s Ozo title-taking ceremony.
Mrs. Anulika has been receiving visits from Nigerians who were touched by the viral video showing her being humiliated by some guests and the children of her husband’s second wife at the ceremony.
In a heartwarming show of solidarity, Nigerians have bought her a new mobile phone, donated hundreds of thousands of naira and continued visiting her father’s home, where she allegedly relocated following constant mockery over her childlessness by her co-wife and her children.
As seen in parts of the viral video, the MC repeatedly urged the children of the second wife to spray money on Mrs. Anulika, just as they had done for their mother. However, the children vehemently refused to do so.
The incident sparked outrage and sympathy among Nigerians, who have now rallied around her, vowing to put a smile on her face, restore her confidence and make her feel loved and appreciated again.
