Nnamdi Kanu Reacts To The Recent Confiscation Of Alcoholic Drinks In Jigawa State

Again, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the ongoing move against consumption and selling of alcoholic drinks in some parts of northern Nigeria.

In his recent tweet on his Twitter handle, the founder of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) picked the recent story of how over 308 bottles of liquor in Jigawa State was confiscated by Hisbah Security operatives as his talking point.

Nnamdi Kanu told his followers on the social media that, despite the war against alcoholic drinks in the north as seen recently in Jigawa, the region will still be given the highest share of the Tax (VAT) that will be generated from the selling of the same products in the southern part of the country.

He wondered how such actions from some northern state governments can be justified by anyone who is thinking of doing so for whatever reason.
