Ochendo Mini Stadium: Abia PDP Stalwart, Nwachukwu hails Abia Speaker, Chinedum Orji

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Abia state, Chief Innocent Nwachukwu has described the ongoing construction of Ochendo Mini Stadium at Isieke Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government, as symbolic.

The PDP chieftain said the laudable gesture attracted by the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and Member representing Umuahia central state constituency, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji would enhance sporting development among youths in Ibeku clan and Abia state as a whole, further adding that the ongoing construction of the mini stadium when completed, would provide room for employment and as well as helping in boosting internally Generated Revenue, IGR of the state.

Nwachukwu who also described the ongoing project as first of its kind in the history of Umuahia Ibeku, posited that the Abia Speaker has performed beyond expectations through his quality legislations which has seen to the development of Abia youths in most particularly in the area of education, health, infrastructures and provision of skill acquisition training for skillful populaces in umuahia central constituency and beyond.

The Party Chieftain spoke while reacting to the groundbreaking ceremony for the Construction of Ochendo Mini Stadium at Isieke Ibeku in Umuahia, called on sons and daughters of Ibeku Ukwu Ancient Kingdom to cooperate with the contractor and workers for the complete realization of the infrastructural amenity,

The Chief Executive Officer of Innocent Nwachukwu Foundation, further lauded the sustained peace and cohesion among the elders of the Ibeku clan which, according to him, was demonstrated during the groundbreaking event.

While urging the people of Umuahia central and Abia central senatorial district to remain steadfast in their support for the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji and Senator Theodore Orji, the foremost Business Tycoon, Chief Innocent Nwachukwu advised the duo to maintain the exemplary leadership which they have continued to demonstrate, despite distractions of political detractors and enemies of progress.

The PDP Stakeholder popularly known as ”Onwa” in the political circle, reiterated his supports and confidence on the ability of Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji to work more for the people if encouraged to occupy higher political office, describing the Abia Speaker as epitome of peoples-oriented leadership
