Ohaneze Set To Partner With Anambra State Govt Towards Promotion Of Igbo Language, Culture Through Entertainment Industry

The Anambra state Chapter of the pan Igbo Association Ohanaeze has declared support for the state govt’s plan to harness the entertainment industry as a means of creating jobs even as she promotes the Igbo Language and Culture. The President of Ohanaeze Anambra state Chief Afam Okeke Ogene made this commitment when the Special Adviser to the Governor of Anambra state on Diaspora Affairs, Indigenous Artworks, Culture and Tourism Hon Tony Oneweek Muonagor paid him a solidarity visit at his Nanka country home. Ogene Nanka said that based on the Goodwill of Gov. Willie Obiano and the antecedents of the new Special Adviser, Ohanaeze Anambra state will gladly partner with the Ministry to see that Igbo language is sustained. He lamented the speed with which Igbo language is dying and prayed for concepts to keep Igbo language alive. The SPAD thanked him for the gesture.
