In a historic development for Lagos and its cultural heritage, four illustrious sons of the land have been officially approved and gazetted as Paramount Traditional White Cap Chiefs of Lagos. The appointments mark a new era of progress, innovation, and continuity for the Isale Eko traditional institution.

The Newly Installed Chiefs

  1. Arc. Gbolahan Owodunni OkiOgboni Iduntafa of Lagos (Akarigbere Royal Class)
    • A distinguished architect and administrator with over three decades of professional experience.
    • Currently serves as the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Urban Development.
  2. Engr. Ajibade Ismail Nosiru AyeniEletu Odibo of Lagos (Head of the Akarigbere Royal Class)
    • A visionary leader with expertise in technology and governance.
    • State Coordinator, Lagos Central at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
  3. Chief Adebola Olalekan DosunmuOlorogun Adodo of Lagos (Akarigbere Royal Class)
    • A respected cultural custodian and unifier.
    • Supreme Head of the Adamu Orisha Play, popularly known as the Olori Eyo.
  4. Chief Lookman Bolaji OluwaOnisemo of Lagos (Ogalade Class of Chiefs)
    • Known for his service-oriented spirit and international exposure.
    • Built a successful career in the United States as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
