Driven by mission to support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and a commitment to enhancing food sufficiency, an All Progressives Congress (APC), lawmaker representing the Ido /Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Remi Oseni has distributed at least 5,206 bags of fertilizers to rural farmers across the constituency.
The distribution, which took place at Remi Oseni’s Constituency office in Ibadan , was aimed at boosting agricultural productivity in the constituency .
Speaking during the event, Oseni who is also the Chairman , House Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency , FERMA emphasized the importance of addressing food security challenges by encouraging and empowering rural farmers.
The lawmaker noted that the initiative is expected to boost the farmers’ yields, thereby enhancing food production and sufficiency.
He highlighted his commitment to empowering his constituents, citing past initiatives and pledging to continue such efforts in the coming weeks.
The primary objective of this initiative is to fulfill the desired agenda of President Bola Tinubu, in his renewed hope agenda for making life easy for our people, particularly in the area of agriculture, eradication of poverty, and promotion of prosperity in the country.
