Residents of Ogbozalla Opi Community in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State are reportedly living in fear following an attack by suspected armed kidnappers that occurred a few days ago.
According to community sources, the attackers invaded the community, shot two residents, killing one person while leaving another seriously injured. The injured victim was reportedly rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The sources also alleged that several residents were abducted during the attack, with the kidnappers reportedly demanding ransom for their release. Some victims were said to have escaped while the incident was unfolding.
