Pray for Mr President, We Go Work for Una — Remi Tinubu Tells Catholic Mothers

First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has appealed to Catholic mothers to continue praying for President Bola Tinubu and the country, while assuring Nigerians that the administration is working towards a better future.

She made the remarks on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, during her official visit to Imo State.

Addressing the Catholic mothers, Remi Tinubu said Nigerians should support the government with prayers as efforts continue to improve the country.

The First Lady added that she was personally committed to seeing a better Nigeria, saying she wanted to enjoy the country in her old age.

“I want to enjoy Nigeria in old age. I’m working for my old age; that’s why we are doing all we are doing right now,” she added.

Her comments came as part of her engagements during the visit to Imo State, where she interacted with various groups and stakeholders.

She urged Nigerians to remain hopeful about the country’s future, stressing the importance of collective efforts and prayers in building a better society.
