A Nigerian man has been left devastated after losing his pregnant wife and unborn child due to a hospital’s refusal to provide urgent medical care. The heartbreaking incident occurred when his wife went into labor, and the couple rushed to a hospital for assistance.
Upon arrival, the hospital allegedly refused to admit the woman until a deposit of N500,000 was made. With no immediate access to the demanded sum, the desperate husband pleaded with the hospital staff to save his wife and child, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
As time ran out, the couple was forced to seek medical help elsewhere. Unfortunately, the only available hospital was far away, and before they could reach it, tragedy struck—both the mother and her unborn child passed away in transit.
