Protesters have taken to the streets demanding justice for Ibrahim Mbaya, popularly known as Ibee, the University of Jos graduate who was allegedly tortured to death after being accused of stealing an iPhone 12.
The demonstrators condemned mob justice and called for everyone involved in the killing to be arrested and prosecuted.
The protesters described Ibee’s death as a tragic reminder of the dangers of jungle justice, insisting that no one should be tortured or killed over an allegation without due process. They urged authorities to ensure justice is served and called for an end to mob violence across the country.
