A school bus, conveying pupils of King David Junior School, crashed on Thursday evening, leaving 21 dead. The bus lost control, collided into a large rock, then, crashed.
The accident occurred at Chekwatit Community, Kapchorwa District, eastern Uganda.
The Ugandan Police said the pupils were on their way back from a trip to Sipi Falls when the bus crashed.
In addition to the dead 21 pupils, about 60 others were identified to sustain injuries; they were urgently taken to hospitals for treatment.
