The Senator that represented Anambra Central at the Eighth National Assembly, Senator Victor Umeh has called on the members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to remain faithful to the party.
Umeh made the call in his country home, Aguluzigbo, when he addressed the Transition Committee Members of Anaocha Local Government Area who paid him a courtesy visit led by its chairman, Mr Patrick Estate Onyedum.
Senator Victor Umeh in his speech harped on the need for the members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to remain united.
“I, Senator Dr. Victor Umeh is the oldest member of APGA in Nigeria. I urge you all to be APGA both body and spirit. I know what I discussed with the Late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and I will never betray him. I will always work for the betterment of APGA.
“Don’t betray APGA just like some of your brothers did. Don’t bring division among yourselves. Love your party members as you love yourself. In politics your brothers and sisters are your party member.” Umeh said.
He noted that he has maintained a cordial relationship with the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, adding that he will continue to do his best to ensure that APGA retains Anambra State Governorship seat come 2021.
