Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has strongly denied recent allegations published by Sahara Reporters, describing them as fake and defamatory. In a post shared via his Instagram story, Seyi wrote, “Enough is enough with these FAKE Stories and Defamation of my character.”
The allegations, reported by Sahara Reporters, which is owned by Yele Sowore, were made by the newly elected President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Atiku Abubakar Isah. He is reported to have claimed that Seyi Tinubu led th*gs to disrupt the NANS inauguration ceremony at The Wells Carlton Hotel in Asokoro, Abuja. Isah, who emerged as NANS President on February 27, 2025, is also reported to have further alleged in a phone call to Sahara Reporters that Seyi thr*atened his life and that he now faces an immediate thr*at to his safety.
Seyi Tinubu has not provided further details beyond his public denial.
