The 2022 world cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world, and it will be the second World Cup held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.

Qatar, as the hosts nation, qualified automatically for the tournament. Other teams are currently going through qualification rounds for the competition, which also includes the defending champions France.

So far in the qualifications rounds, only one team has guarantee their place in the next year’s world cup competition, aside from the host country.

1. Germany 

Germany booked their place for the Qatar 2022 world cup tournament, as the first team to qualify with a resounding 4–0 victory over North Macedonia, on Monday night.

The European Country made it five out of five wins under new coach Hansi Flick, and seven wins out of eight in group J, which has now seen them through to the qualifications for the 2022 world cup tournament.

Although, Germany’s early qualification was due to the results of other group J game, where Armenia lost 1–0 to Romania, which prompt the Germany’s qualification to the 2022 world cup.

Germany have had an almost perfect record in their world cup qualification rounds so far, as they register seven wins from eight games, with their only defeat coming from North Macedonia at home, in a surprise 2–1 defeat in March.

Their revenge against North Macedonia came at the proper timing, as they equally qualified, after the 4–0 mauling, which they dominated all through the game.

Although, they had to wait for the second half, before gaining a breakthrough with Kai Havertz’s 50 minutes tap in.

Timo Werner scored a quick fire brace to increase the scoreline, and guarantee their win, while teenager Jamal Musiala added the fourth to complete the rout against the Northern Macedonian team.

Germany will definitely be a team to watch out for in the 2022 world cup, as they have won the competition on four different occasions.
