Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has criticized the treatment of women allegedly mobilized for APC political activities in Abuja, claiming many were abandoned without transport fare to return home after campaign events.
In a video shared online, VeryDarkMan said he encountered several stranded women wearing APC wrappers in the nation’s capital and questioned the sincerity of the party’s empowerment promises.
“I knew there was no way these women were putting on APC wrappers because they truly love you people… now they are stranded in Abuja because they don’t have transportation fare to return home after being used for campaign. Where is the empowerment you promised them?” he said.
The activist further disclosed that he gave the women 100 dollars each to assist with transportation back to their various destinations.
