President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Hon. Dr. Nnoli Nkechi Gloria as the new Federal Character Commissioner representing Anambra State.
Her appointment is part of a fresh shake-up in the Federal Character Commission (FCC), which also saw the reappointment of Dr. Muheeba Dankaka as Executive Chairman for a second five-year term, alongside other new and returning commissioners from across the federation.
Hon. Dr. HNnoli Nkechi Gloria will be tasked with upholding the FCC’s mandate of ensuring fairness, equity, and balanced representation in federal appointments, recruitment, and distribution of resources across the country.
Political observers note that her inclusion signals a strategic move to strengthen representation for Anambra State in federal decision-making processes. She joins 30 other commissioners from different states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Her appointment comes at a time when the Commission is expected to play a key role in promoting national unity and equitable opportunities for Nigerians across all regions.
