Businesswoman Tracy Ohiri has publicly accused Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, of orchestrating circumstances that led to her releasing a retraction video against her will.
In an emotional appeal shared online, Ohiri claimed she was pressured into recording the video to clear the minister of earlier allegations she had made against him. According to her, the agreement was that she would receive full payment before the video was released to the public.
She further alleged that her lawyer, Marshall Abubakar, was used in the process that led to the recording of the retraction.
“I haven’t been paid my full money yet. I was forced to make that video. The agreement was that once I made it, I would be paid before it was released,” Ohiri said.
She claimed that the video was eventually released without her consent and without the promised payment being made.
Calling on the public for support, the businesswoman urged Nigerians to come to her rescue, insisting that the circumstances surrounding the video were not as they appeared.
