The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said that no government can guarantee lasting peace, insisting that true peace can only be found in God.
Oyedepo made the statement while ministering at the dedication of Dreamland, the new worship centre of Master’s Place International Church in Warri, Delta State.
Urging people not to rely on earthly institutions for peace, the cleric said, “No government in this world can give you peace, neither can you find it in the market. It is only God that can give you peace.”
He maintained that while governments have their roles, lasting peace cannot come from political systems or worldly pursuits, but only through a relationship with God.
