Unjust dismissal: Honourable Chinedu Ogah Petition National Assembly to Reinstate Three Ebonyi Soldiers

The member Representing Ezza South and Ikwo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Honourable Chinedu Ogah has called on the Nigeria Army to recall three of it men that was unjustly dismissed from service

Ogah made this known in a statement signed by his media aid Charles Iteshi and made available to journalists in the Abakaliki the Ebonyi state capital

According to Ogah, he said the dismissal of CPL Umeh with Force No: 04/NA/55/0798, PTE Obumneme Gabriel with Force No: 12NA/67/ 4390 and LCPL Augustine Mgbebu with Force No: 07NA/60/0151 from the Nigeria Army is not clear to the public.

He said he had to petitioned the National Assembly to command the Nigerian Army to reinstate the three Ebonyi soldiers to operation Zaman Lafiya Dole (188 Task Force Battalion) because their dismissal by the Nigerian Army is not just unconstitutional but it is an unjust act

Responding the National Assembly House Committee chairman on public petition, in a letter has called on the Nigerian Army to appear before it committee in person or through a legal practitioner of their choice or authorized representatives before it committee on Tuesday 21th July, 2020

Akelicious news gathered that the chairman said if the Nigerian Army or their legal practitioner or any authorized representatives fails to attend the hearing as required, the case may be heard or determined in their absence
